Q- When should I arrive for my appointment? A- Generally 5-10 minutes before your service to help keep appointments running smoothly. Cancellations Q- How much notice is necessary? A- Generally 24 Hours so that the appointment can be filled. Of course we understand emergency situations.
Gratuities Often, Guests will inquire what is proper for a gratuity for an specific service.The following is industry standard and is also found online.
Q- What is the normal gratuity for a specific service? A- Typically, between 15 and 20%.
Q- What circumstances dictate a higher gratuity? A- Any service that took more time than usual such as Makeovers, Color Correction, Special Occasions, Etc.
Q- Who else should receive a Gratuity other than your Stylist? A- Shampoo Assistant - $3.00 TO $5.00, more for Multiple shampoo services, Perms, Highlighting, Relaxers, Etc. Whenever more time is needed. Nail Technician - $3.00 TO $5.00 for a Regular Manicure or 15-20% of the service.
Q- Where can I leave my Gratuity? A- Either to the Provider or at the front desk, whatever is more comfortable for you.
Q- What about the Salon Owner? A- Gratuities to the Salon Owner are not required. However, many insist. It is best to inquire at the Front Desk to be sure.
Q- What about End of Year gifts? A- To some extent, this depends on your relationship with your Service Provider. But some sort of Thank You for the Year of Service is Always Greatly Appreciated. This applies to Staff, Salon Owner and Receptionist.
